Pre-Athletic Training

In the Pre-Athletic Training Concentration within the B.S. in Exercise Science program, you will learn about rehabilitation and prevention of injuries, therapeutic exercise, and other specialized topics essential for a graduate program in Athletic Training. Once you earn a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Vermont State, you will be ready to apply to graduate school to pursue a master’s degree and will be eligible for certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC).

Accreditation 

This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (2009-present) in coordination with the American College of Sports Medicine. 

The program is also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Education Recognition Program (2005-present).
