James Wolfe is a proud Castleton alum and advisor to the Student Government Association at the Castleton campus. The Student Government Association at Castleton is comprised of three branches: Student Congress, the Campus Activities Board, and the Student Court. Our Student Congress also oversees and manages our campus-based clubs and organizations, allocates the Student Activities Fee to special projects and professional development opportunities, and provides leadership development opportunities for student leaders. Our Campus Activities Board provides further engagement through weekly events each Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays and supports our special weekends such as Homecoming & Family Weekend and Spring Weekend. Our Student Court works within our Conduct system to promote accountability on campus and run SGA elections. James is beyond proud of the level of student engagement and to consistently work with amazing student leaders and advise them to achieve their goals.
James currently runs the INT-4710: New Student Success Practicum course for members of the Student Orientation Staff and enjoys being involved in the legacy of SOS.
Personally, James was born and mostly raised in Texas and lived in Connecticut prior to coming to school in Vermont and staying in beautiful Castleton. He can frequently be found playing music in the community and is a vinyl record enthusiast. James is passionate about a variety of topics in the fields of Education, Mathematics, and Leadership Theory.
