Kristen Sayers

Program Technician

Kristen is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with over a decade of experience in the veterinary field. A proud alum of Vermont Tech with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She not only boasts a strong background in veterinary medicine, but also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and a Masters degree in Education.

Amanda Angell

Program Technician

Amanda graduated in 2010 from Vermont Technical College with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She worked in general practice from 2010-2017. In 2017, Amanda became a program technician at Vermont Technical College in the Veterinary Technology Department. She earned her bachelor’s of Applied Business Management in 2021 and began working on her masters in education in 2022.

Inge Smith Luce

Associate Professor, Program Director

Inge has taught for the Vermont State Colleges System since 2012 in nursing, and started the paramedic program in 2015.

She has earned certificates in Paramedicine and Practical Nursing, Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Education. She is a certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Medicolegal Death Investigator (ABMDI).

Her work experience includes prehospital emergency and non-emergency care, interfacility transfers, ICU and ED nursing, primary care, triage, and medicolegal death investigation.
