Miranda Aiken

Laboratory Manager

Miranda graduated from Lyndon State College (VTSU Lyndon) in 2011 with Bachelor’s of Science degree in Natural Science. She went on to study at Western Carolina University, graduating in 2015 with a Master’s of Science degree in Biology. After completing her graduate work, she continued teaching in higher education at WCU and later at Florence-Darlington Technical College until returning to Vermont. Vermont has always been Miranda’s home. Her time is spent with her husband and two dogs gardening and enjoying Vermont’s scenic beauty. You will find her in the science buildings of the Lyndon and Johnson campuses aiding faculty in improving and sustaining science education in our rural northern locations.

Jeremy Cannata

Director of Clinical Education (DCE)

A graduate of Vermont Technical College’s Respiratory Therapy program, Jeremy has worked at UVM Medical Center as an in-patient and out-patient RT. Specializing in the care of neonatal populations in the ICU as well as working as a registered Pulmonary Function Technologist.

Jeremy currently volunteers as a consultant on the PFT examination committee for the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
