What You’ll Learn
Vermont State’s B.S. in Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare you for a wide variety of career paths by combining a strong core, ample room for customization, and a wealth of practical experience.
In the core courses, you will study key areas of criminal justice, including law enforcement, criminology, corrections, and ethics issues in the field.
From there, choose three courses each from the areas of criminal justice systems and issues in criminal justice to develop a broad competency for career flexibility. Select two courses from the area of professional development to add to your practical skills for the workplace, like investigation methods and GIS for law enforcement.
You’ll complete an internship in an area related to your goals to build your confidence and on-the-ground experience with criminal justice institutions and practices.
