A Letter From the Vice President of Admissions

When I think of Vermont State University, the first word that comes to mind is opportunity.

I could talk at length about the quality of our academics, the dedication of our faculty and staff, our competitive athletic teams and vibrant arts programming, and the other qualities that make Vermont State special. What excites me the most is the new opportunities we’re creating.

As a Vermont State University student, you’ll have greater flexibility in how you take classes, enjoy a broader and deeper range of academic offerings and student activities, and will have a direct connection to alumni from around the world.

If you are interested in becoming a Vermont State University student in the 2023-24 academic year, the application will launch in mid-September, tuition and fee information will be available in October, and detailed scholarship information will be included with our first admittances in November. Until then, we encourage you to discover Vermont State. We hope that you’ll join us at our upcoming open houses and information sessions, where you’ll hear directly from current students, experience classes, and tour our beautiful campuses. We also have a variety of virtual events, and you can always explore our campuses from our virtual tours.

If you have any questions about admission, affordability, or Vermont State University overall, you can connect with our Admissions team at Admissions@VermontState.edu.
