Instructor

Ashley Warwick proudly joined the Lyndon campus faculty as an adjunct instructor in January 2017. Ashley is passionate about creating an engaging, approachable, and relatable classroom community, whether it’s online or in person, where students can connect with the course material and each other for personal and professional success.

In the Music Business and Industry (MBI) department Ashley offers courses in voice instruction, stage performance techniques, marketing and self-promotion, and music collaboration. Housed in the Exercise Science department, Ashley’s courses in meditation and relaxation are open to students from any discipline and are well suited for developing important habits for self-care and stress-management.

Ashley is an accomplished vocalist and performer. Prior to relocating to the Northeast in 2016, she spent 12 years in Los Angeles where she performed as a jazz vocalist, classic country and western singer, and voiceover actor, recording numerous parts for commercial and demo work. Additionally, Ashley had a very successful career as a yoga and yogic lifestyle teacher, leading countless workshops on yoga philosophy topics, personal empowerment, movement, body alignment, and relaxation techniques. Ashley received a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in 2004 where she studied jazz vocal performance. She also completed her Master of Business Administration from Vermont State University in 2023, concentrating on Media and Communications.

Ashley is a life-long equestrian, and enjoys riding her horse, Juniper, across the Vermont countryside. She and her husband, fellow MBI faculty member Brian Warwick, enjoy long distance road trips, hanging out with their cat Buttercup, and playing classic country and western music in their band, Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny.
