Aurora Hurd (they/them) began working in this role in January of 2023. They have previously worked in the VSC Chancellor’s Office, for the University of Vermont, and at the Community College of Vermont. They have also worked in HR and other operational roles for nonprofits and political campaigns. Aurora earned their AA in liberal studies at CCV, before going on to earn their BA in political science from UVM, and their MFA in creative writing from Goddard College. They live in Winooski with their husband and three cats. Outside of work, they serve as a City Councilor for Winooski, teach writing workshops, and try to squeeze in time for reading and writing.
