Kyra Roberts

Project Coordinator, Apprenticeship Programs

My name is Kyra Roberts and I was born and raised in the Green Mountain State. I lived in Vermont for 20 years and decided to make a move to the Great State of Texas in 2020. I have worked in the college world at the beginning of my career. I worked for Middlebury College in the food industry for about 5 years or so until Covid hit. That is when I decided to move south and start fresh. I have always been the type of person to help others and that’s exactly what I have been doing. I worked as a Non Certified CNA in a nursing home, managed a restaurant, and was a CSR for a respiratory company. Then I decided to take my chances and really get into the college life. I applied to be a Program Coordinator for Apprenticeship Programs and got the job. Boy have I learned so much already. Getting my name out there to students and employers and establishing a relationship with them is amazing. I really truly think this is where I am meant to be. Helping others and expanding their reach within the college and out there in life.
