Vanessa Roy is a Residence Hall Director at Vermont State University and has been located at the Randolph Campus since 2024. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Vanessa attended Framingham State University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies & Sustainability. She joined residence life as a security desk attendant and resident assistant during her senior year of undergrad and quickly fell in love with the job. Deciding to pursue a role in higher education, she applied to be a Residence Hall Director at VTSU, where she also hopes to complete her master’s in Higher Education. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys exploring nature, reading, binge-watching Harry Potter and Marvel, and spending time with her beloved cat Muffins!
