Kate joined the Lyndon community in 2005, teaching first year English until 2007, when she accepted a staff position to improve persistence and graduation for first-generation students. She has supported student academic advising in various capacities since 2011, and currently leads the team of Student Success Advisors at the Lyndon campus.
Her past lives include stints as staff at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, guest services manager in Salt Lake City during the 2002 Olympics, junior high French and language arts teacher, beginning reading instructor, and yarn store employee (for the discount!) She enjoys boxing, reading, and walking the dog she accidentally inherited during Covid.
