Creative Audience Events
Creative Audience is a 1-credit course that has been a part of the Johnson academic and first-year experience since 2009. The goal of the course is to help students gain self-awareness and confidence, tolerance for and appreciation of cultural and intellectual diversity, and the ability to think through and solve problems creatively.
VTSU Johnson’s Creative Audience program introduces students to the richness and vitality of the liberal arts experience through lectures, plays, films, recitals, poetry readings, performances, workshops, and more. Open to all, the Creative Audience events gather the community together to enjoy the cultural and intellectual life of the university.
Students attending Creative Audience events as part of their Connections Seminars in the VTSU General Education Program are encouraged to review the schedule and select events that encourage you to step beyond the familiar to sample something new to you. Students enrolled in the Creative Audience Program should check the home page of their Canvas course for the most up-to-date information on Creative Audience, including a calendar of events.
Questions? If you have questions about the Creative Audience program schedule or program requirements, or would like to propose a Creative Audience event, please contact Nora.Beltz@VermontState.edu.
