Ms. Cara Hill is a native Vermonter hailing originally from the Northeast Kingdom nearby to VTSU’s Lyndon campus. Her grandparents came from that area and grew up in the agricultural heyday of Vermont’s rich history. Her maternal grandfather attended Randolph campus as an Agricultural student in the mid 1930s.
Cara is an Alumni of VTSU – Johnson and holds a BFA in Music Education. She taught General and Vocal music in Vermont elementary and middle schools for 10 years.
Cara’s three children would say she is a neat freak, and really busy singing, cooking and managing them all.
She says, “Working for the Student Affairs office brings great opportunities to meet students and help them navigate their time with us. It is great fun!”
