A native of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Jeremy is designing and building an Engineering Bridge program for CWPE and VTSU to meet the growing demand for qualified manufacturing and engineering professionals in the Vermont workforce.

His career began in biotechnology, where, as Data Analyst and Research Scientist he worked to develop and implement the sequence “finishing” process to provide complete human chromosome DNA sequences for the Human Genome Project at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard the Stanford Human Genome Center, where he co-designed and led the study analyzing the quality of the human genome sequence produced by the International Genome Sequencing Consortium.

As a teacher he redesigned the Upper School mathematics curriculum and developed and taught innovative courses in mathematics, physics, and philosophy at the flagship progressive Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, CA. As an education entrepreneur, he founded a boutique test-prep and tutoring company in the San Fransisco Bay Area, and developed numerous standardized test-prep, college, and graduate admissions curricula for boutique firms and startup online education companies worldwide. As the co-founder and principal consultant at Small World Networks, LLC, Jeremy has leveraged his expertise in process and design thinking to re-vision both workforce education and production pipelines to help client organizations achieve workforce, distribution, and sustainability goals.

Jeremy holds a bachelor’s in physics from Dartmouth, a master’s in philosophy and religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and a certificate in design thinking from MIT/Sloan School of Management.
