Lover of all things strings, Applied Music Instructor, Kyle Hildenbrand is an Alumni of Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, Kyle studied Guitar, Film Scoring and Composition. Additionally, he studied with Robert Fripp and the League of Crafty Guitarists, Eve Weiss on Classical Guitar and Orchestration with David Saturan at Moravian College. Kyle ran a successful private teaching studio in Kutztown, PA. He taught up to 60 students per week on 9 different instruments. Upon moving to the North Country, Kyle returned to his love of writing music for film and has written scores for 40 + feature length films for Director Charlie Minn. Since joining the staff at VSU, he has taught lessons designed to help students achieve their personal goals on their chosen instrument along with a healthy dose of what all players need to know!
