A big part of addressing the nursing shortage is training the next generation of the workforce, which is where our local colleges and universities come in.

They’re working alongside hospitals to offer incentive programs to people interested in nursing, or for people who are considering a career change into nursing. They’re hoping these initiatives will pay off.
