MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State University is seeing a 15% increase in preliminary enrollment deposits for the fall semester.
School officials say first-year deposits are up 20% over last year, and deposits for CCV students moving on to VTSU are also up by more than 30%.
It comes in the final year of bridge funding from the state to help the system on its journey to become financially sustainable. Some worried about whether the state colleges could stand on their own.
