Anna O’Shea

Assistant Professor

Anna O’Shea is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Vermont State University’s Johnson Campus, where she has taught since 2022. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Champlain College. Professor O’Shea teaches a broad range of business courses, including Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, Marketing Strategies, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management, and Business Ethics. Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning, applied business competencies, and the integration of academic theory with real-world business practice.

Professor O’Shea brings more than 15 years of professional experience in marketing and business, including over a decade in the snowboard industry, where she managed e-commerce platforms, digital marketing initiatives, and direct-to-consumer sales strategies.

She is professionally active in the American Marketing Association, the Association for Consumer Research, and the National Business Education Association, and has presented her work at regional and national academic conferences.

Outside of the classroom, Professor O’Shea enjoys spending time in Vermont’s lakes and mountains, snowboarding with her family, traveling, and walking with her golden retriever.
