Returning to school as an adult learner has been one of the most challenging and rewarding decisions of my life. As a mom of three daughters, I wanted to show them that it’s never too late to pursue your goals and create a better future.
Balancing family life with the demands of a rigorous dental hygiene program hasn’t always been easy, but it has taught me resilience, determination, and the power of perseverance. One of my proudest accomplishments has been maintaining a 4.0 GPA while continuing to show up for both my family and my education.
Earning this degree means growth, opportunity, and leading by example. If there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s that it’s never too late to start… just take the first step and keep going. For far too long I watched the time pass without taking the leap. If I can do it, you can too!
