Athletics at Vermont State

Athletics are an essential part of the Vermont State University experience. Whether you are competing or rooting on your fellow students, you’ll be part of the team here at Vermont State.

Our Castleton, Lyndon, Johnson, and Randolph campuses each offer varsity, intramural, and club sports, and each campus has its own mascot, too. Sometimes our teams even compete against each other, a little friendly competition is all in good fun!

Here, our student-athletes build leadership and teamwork skills that help them excel — in competition, in the classroom, on campus, throughout our communities, and in their field.
