Miranda graduated from Lyndon State College (VTSU Lyndon) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science. She went on to study at Western Carolina University, graduating in 2015 with a Master of Science degree in Biology. Her focus of study was on aquatic systems and invasive population removal. After graduating, she continued a role in higher education by teaching at both Western Carolina University and Florence-Darlington Technical College. She returned to my home state of Vermont spending time with her husband and fur babies. Her passions include gardening and enjoying Vermont’s scenic beauty. You can find her in the science buildings of Lyndon and Johnson campuses of VTSU aiding faculty in improving and sustaining science education in our rural northern campuses.
