Matt has been teaching Business Law at Castleton since 2023. Outside of the classroom he is a partner at McClallen Law, a law firm based in Rutland where he focuses on business law, real estate, and estate planning.
Before entering the legal profession, Matt earned his pilot’s license and a degree in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. His first career was as a dispatch supervisor and trainer for CitationAir, a private jet-share company.
After the closure of CitationAir, Matt returned home to Vermont and completed a four-year apprenticeship through the Vermont Law Office Study Program. He has been a licensed and practicing attorney since 2018.
