Amanda is a registered nurse and a professor in the nursing program at Vermont State University. She holds an AS in Biotechnology, a Nursing Diploma, and an AS in Nursing from Vermont State University. She also holds a BSN, MSN, and DNP from Chamberlain University.
Amanda has worked for Vermont State University since 2011. In addition to working for Vermont State University, Amanda is a contract writer and has developed content for major nursing publishers, such as ATI. Amanda writes nursing articles for nursing journals and continuing education websites. She is also an editorial board member for the journal Nursing Made Incredibly Easy!.
Amanda has worked in the following units/specialties, intensive care, medical-surgical, psychiatry, birthing center, long-term care, and residential care. She has experience as a floor nurse, nurse manager, staff development nurse, and Assistant Director of Nursing.
