My first employment experiences were in retail management and managing a small animal hospital. I guided and supervised several college student internships at both. In 1999 I joined what was then Castleton State College in the Registrar’s office and soon after moved into the business academic department. This transition allowed me to bring all my experiences and skills together to serve the students, faculty, and dean of the School of Business and Professional Studies. One of my favorite jobs is to line up each year’s business students for commencement and see them off on their new journey. Outside of work time, I am a 4-H leader, show my Appaloosa horse and judge horse shows. My husband and I have two adult children and two grandchildren.
