After a successful career in the aerospace and defense industry, both as a producer and manufacturer of defense products and as a consultant to the Department of Defense, Dr. Dennis Reilly transitioned from the boardroom to the classroom. Dr. Reilly was president of Jenoptik Defense Inc., responsible for building a US presence for the German-based international corporation in Jupiter, FL, and International Defense Security Solutions in Leesburg, VA. Before that role, Dr. Reilly was a vice president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, a significant supplier of high-tech optical products to the DoD and DHS. Dr. Reilly has worked and lived in Europe for 15 years, leading global, multicultural, high-tech corporations.
Before joining the Castleton University College of Business, Dr. Reilly taught graduate and undergraduate courses in International Business, Organizational and Strategic Leadership, Organizational Change Management, and Organizational Strategy in the Global Environment at Colorado State University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, South University, and Southern New Hampshire University. Dr. Reilly holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, a Master’s Degree in International Management from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Technology from Charter Oak State College in CT.
