Heather Duhamel, M.Ed (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education (Online) at Vermont State University in Vermont. Heather’s degree is in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont which has guided her twenty-year career and current research focused on the potential of workforce pathways that lead to a bachelor’s degree with teacher licensure. She is conducting research with Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children and the Vermont Early Childhood Higher Education Consortium colleagues in Vermont to understand access points and barriers within our current higher education system.
