Previously, she worked for 14 years as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for a large suburban school district in Texas and taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Victoria. In her work in the Department of Counseling and School Psychology, she has worked to secure a U.S. Department of Education (Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program) grant through 2027 to increase the enrollment and support of graduate students in the school psychology and school counseling programs while increasing the number of graduates that are able to stay in the state of Vermont to work in K-12 schools after they graduate.
