Marisa Valent-Altland received her Bachelors in Theater Arts and Spanish and her Masters in Arts Administration from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. Originally from Vestal, New York, Marisa moved to Vermont to pursue her career at VTSU Castleton. As an Arts Administrator, Marisa runs the day to day operations of the Fine Arts Center, the Casella Box Office, the Soundings Program, and the Arts Reach school outreach program. Marisa has been directing, acting, and playwriting for ten years, and typically directs two shows at VTSU Castleton each year. Marisa also teaches Intro to Theater and Arts Event Management at the VTSU Killington campus.
