A native Vermonter, Max brings his passion for connection and relaxation to the Castleton campus. He can often be found hanging out with students and fellow staff or just wandering around near Leavenworth Hall, whatever the Vermont weather brings.
Max loves to share the nuggets of wisdom he has gleaned from his adventurous path — one that took him from solo traveler on the road of life to a wonderful home with his beloved family right near campus since 2021.
In no particular order, Max’s wisdom:
- Learn where the sun shines warm and lie down for a nap
- While nine lives are great, it’s best to enjoy every bit of the one life you have
- When you purr, you make others happy around you
- Softness will capture more hearts than claws
