Olivia Cadena was born and raised in Lake Placid, New York, and holds a BA in Music from SUNY Plattsburgh and an MA in Music History from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining VTSU’s Financial Aid department, she was the Executive Director of Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum in Rutland, VT. Before moving to VT in 2024, Olivia spent ten years teaching K-12 and higher ed in and around San Antonio, TX. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, traveling, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors with her partner, Todd, and their dogs Trinity and Cauliflower.
