Dr. Tom Geisler joined Castleton’s Department of Health and Exercise Sciences in 2011 after thirteen years as a public school teacher and coach. Prior to that, he spent three years as a Field Instructor for the North Carolina Outward Bound School. He also served as the Department Chairperson from 2015 to 2023. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being active and outdoors in the mountains, especially running, cross-country skiing, biking, hiking and camping.
