Dibden Center for the Arts and the Polaris Performance Company Present:

30 Neo-Futurist plays from Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (30 plays in 60 minutes)

Written by Greg Allen and the Neo-Futurists
Directed by Isaac Eddy

30 Neo-Futurist plays from Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 plays in 60 minutes) is making its VTSU debut this fall! The show was devised in the 90’s by Greg Allen and the Neo-Futurist ensemble and has run in Chicago and New York City, creating new plays each week, for over thirty years. The Polaris Performance company chose their favorite 30 plays out of hundreds to present to you this season. The audience votes on the order of the plays each night, as if ordering numbered meals from a fast food restaurant, and if we haven’t finished all of them in sixty minutes you’ll have to come back another night to see what you missed. There is comedy, heartfelt drama, satire, performance art, satire of performance art, political pieces, and everything in between. We are excited to share this with you as it is a one-of-a-kind show. Due to some language and themes included in the performance, we recommend mature audience members only.
