Art Exhibit: Graphites, Gorges & Glens

February 6 | 12:00 pm 5:00 pm

The VTSU Castleton Bank Gallery presents “Graphites, Gorges & Glens,” an exhibition featuring E. Gilmutdinov, a Connecticut-based artist originally from Eastern Russia. This collection highlights Gilmutdinov’s proficiency in both draftsmanship and acrylic painting. Drawing inspiration from travel, local and international landscapes, as well as Impressionism, his works are inspired by the style of Van Gogh. His pieces depict European cities, valleys, and the natural scenery of Connecticut. Through detailed graphite drawings, tranquil acrylics, and a distinctive use of shape and form, Gilmutdinov offers viewers a unique perspective on the world.
