Bala Bila Performance

The VTSU Castleton Soundings Program presents a performance by Bala Bila on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00 PM in the 1787 Room. BALA-BILA brings together two African master musicians–Balla Kouyate on balafon, calabash, bass guitar and voice, and Matchume Zango on timbila, mbira, percussion and voice, through a performance framed as an intercultural musical conversation between the two artists. Soundings students are required to sign up in advance to guarantee a seat. This event is free and open to the public.
