The Jeffords Hall Atrium at the Castleton campus of Vermont State University was filled with people on Tuesday night to celebrate the life of Honoree Fleming.
Among them was her husband, Ron Powers.

The greater Castleton community was shaken a year ago when police say the 77-year-old was shot in the head while walking alone on the Rail Trail. No one has been arrested, and there have been few updates since.
