Eleven students from the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program attended the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association (EATA) Convention in Philadelphia from January 10-12, accompanied by Professors Reese Boucher and Sarah Cook.
At the convention, 2nd-year student Gary Arleth was honored with two prestigious scholarships: the EATA District I Scholarship and the EATA Joseph Abraham Scholarship. Additionally, Gary secured 3rd place in the 2025 District 1 Quiz Bowl and will proudly represent District 1 at the national student quiz bowl at NATA 2025 in Orlando this June.
1st-year MAT student Becca Roy served as the student delegate for the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers at the EATA. In this leadership role, she is actively involved in planning and organizing the student program for the EATA Convention in both 2025 and 2026.
