Sigma, the International Nursing Honors Society, inducted 26 students from the VTSU Pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the RN-BSN Online Degree Completion Program, and the Master of Science in Nursing Program.
Senior Staff Assistant Kelley Szabo was presented with the Friend of Nursing Award, Katherine Miles (RN-BSN) received the Rising Star Award, Tonya Fodge (RN-BSN) and Gary Burnett (pre-licensure BSN) received the Student Excellent Award, Matt Roy (RN-BSN) and Anna Louise White (pre-licensure BSN) received the Student Leadership Award.
The Department of Nursing Clinical Coordinator Susan Shayne serves as the Chapter’s Vice-president and Faculty Counselor, and Dr. Carolyn Stannard-Carlo (Co-Department Chair and RN-BSN Program Coordinator) serves as a faculty counselor.
