“Today we recognize Veterans Day in respect and recognition of the contributions our veterans and their families have made to the call of peace and freedom and their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the good of all. We owe our Veterans a debt of gratitude and I, along with the entire Vermont State University community, honor all of our Veterans today for their sacrifices and their service. We especially recognize those in our community who have served their country and have returned home bringing their experience here and making countless contributions through their teaching, teamwork, and learning at VTSU. As we celebrate Veterans Day today, let us keep the sacrifices and contributions of these friends and neighbors top of mind.”
