My proudest accomplishments are getting married and becoming a father to my two boys. They are the center of everything I do. Another major accomplishment has been making the decision to change careers and pursue nursing. Taking that leap-especially later in life-required commitment, courage, and a belief that I could build something better for myself and my family.
Highlights of My Educational Path
Some of the biggest highlights in my educational journey have been earning my Advanced EMT certification and obtaining my LPN license. Both milestones pushed me to grow clinically and personally, and they laid the foundation for my transition into professional nursing.
Future Career Plans
My goal is to pass the NCLEX, earn my RN license, and work as an Emergency Department nurse. After gaining experience in the ED, I plan to continue advancing my skills by obtaining my paramedic license. I’m driven to work in fast‑paced, high‑acuity environments where I can make a meaningful difference.
What Earning My Degree Means to Me
Earning this degree represents the beginning of a new career and a new chapter in my life. It means showing my boys that when you find something that motivates you and helps you grow, you can set a goal, work hard, and achieve it.
