Becoming a nurse by the time I turned 40 had always been my goal. I’m proud to say I earned my LPN license right as I reached that milestone, graduating the day before my 40th birthday. The journey wasn’t easy. Balancing school, work, and raising my two daughters meant long days, late nights, and learning to push through even when I felt overwhelmed or disorganized.

This experience strengthened me in ways I never expected. It showed my girls what determination and perseverance look like, and it proved to me that timelines don’t matter as long as you keep moving forward. Every challenge helped me grow into a more confident nurse and a better role model for my family.

Earning this degree represents commitment, sacrifice, and the belief that it’s never too late to achieve your dreams. I’m excited to keep growing in my nursing career and inspiring my daughters to follow their own goals.
