My educational journey has been shaped by perseverance, resilience, and a deep commitment to personal growth. After breaking my knee and undergoing multiple surgeries, I faced significant physical and emotional challenges that tested my determination. Despite these setbacks, I remained focused on my goals and continued my education, ultimately earning my associate’s degree.
In addition to my studies, I work in healthcare with the elderly, which has strengthened my passion for nursing and compassionate patient care. I also work alongside my father in his cleaning business and help care for my grandmother, experiences that have reinforced my responsibility, empathy, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy staying active through group fitness classes, spending time outdoors, and baking. These activities provide balance and motivation. In the future, I hope to work as a travel nurse, explore new places, and gain diverse clinical experience. Eventually, I plan to return home, pursue advanced education, and teach future healthcare professionals how to provide respectful, high-quality care to older adults.
