This reward holds immense significance for me, particularly in acknowledging my hard work and dedication. Earning this degree feels like a dream come true. Since childhood, becoming a nurse has been my unwavering dream. I am now on the brink of graduation, and I feel like I am living a dream.
I am incredibly grateful and proud of the hard work I have put in while working full-time and taking care of my two boys, aged 10 and 11. Initially, I came to Vermont with the expectation of a 16-week LNA contract. Who would have imagined that three years later, I would be graduating in my dream career?
This experience has had a profound positive impact on my life and my family. I am the first person in my family to earn a degree. I have always heard and had a mindset about how challenging nursing school is. Now, I look back and see myself finishing strong, taking on multiple classes, working full-time, and still being the head of my household.
Despite these challenges, I have managed to achieve my goal. If I can do it, anyone can overcome any obstacle, no matter how daunting it may seem. It will all pay off.
