Cheyanne McCoy

My academic journey has been shaped by perseverance, growth, and a deep commitment to becoming a nurse. Throughout the nursing program, I have developed not only clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills, but also resilience and time management while balancing school, work, and motherhood. Each semester has strengthened my confidence and reinforced my passion for patient-centered care.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my journey has been being a mother while pursuing my degree. Raising my son while working toward becoming a nurse has taught me discipline, compassion, and determination. He is my daily reminder of why I continue pushing forward, even during challenging moments.

What motivates me most is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and families during vulnerable times. I am driven by the desire to provide safe, empathetic, and knowledgeable care. Completing my degree is not only a personal achievement but also a step toward creating a stable and meaningful future for my family.
