Completing my college degree has been an important goal of mine since graduating high school. I went into my Psychology degree with the intentions and hopes of obtaining knowledge and a career that will allow me to help others who need it. I have always had a passion for helping others. I have faced many challenges in my college career including a pandemic, supporting myself and working full time as a Preschool Teacher, helping my mom through her cancer diagnosis, and battling my own health issues, which has set my graduation time back, however I am determined to finish it.
To me my college career is not just about a degree, it’s about learning new things, it’s about growing my confidence and perseverance, it’s about coming from the bottom and accomplishing a goal. Vermont State Colleges has been amazing in helping me pursue my goal in a way that’s possible for my circumstances and I couldn’t be more thankful.
