Going back to school to finish my degree is something I am really excited and proud of. It hasn’t been easy being a mama to three young children, working full-time, and going back to school, but I keep going because this means so much to me.
I am proud to be a first-generation college student. I am doing this not only for myself, but for my children. I want them to see that even when life is busy and hard, you can still follow your dreams. I want them to know it is never too late to finish what you started. Earning my degree means growth, strength, and creating a better future for my family. It shows me that I am capable, and it reminds my children that they can accomplish anything they believe in, too.
