Some of my proudest accomplishments is working my way from being a PCA, LNA, LPN and now working on completing my RN degree. I have pushed myself through full time education while working full time in healthcare as well. My future career plan is to work in the NICU as an RN. Earning my degree means a lot to me because I am able to care for patients as if they are my own loved ones and comfort them during their hospitalizations and or in long term care.
I was inspired to purse my education in nursing due to being raised in a family of healthcare workers and being introduced to long term care at a young age. Some advice I would give to others is to get as many prerequisites out of the way so that you can solely focus on the nursing program it’s self.
