I never imagined I would be earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at this stage of my life, but the timing feels right. Years ago, I chose to put school on hold to raise my three children, and being their mom has always been my greatest accomplishment. As they grew, I did too, and I realized it was time to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse and building the future I’ve always wanted for all of us. Going back to school for my BSN while balancing family life was not easy.
There have been long nights of studying, early mornings, clinical days, and moments of doubt. But there was also strength, resilience, and purpose. I wanted my children to see that hard work matters and that it’s okay to chase your dreams even if the path looks different than you first imagined.
Earning my BSN means opportunity, stability, and fulfillment. Most of all, it proves that it is never too late to expand your knowledge and achieve your dreams.
