As a full time, victim advocate and parent, my journey to completing my degree has been shaped by resilience and purpose. Although I began my education years ago, I paused to raise my family. Watching my oldest child graduate college inspired me to return and finish what I started.

As the child of immigrants who did not have access to higher education, earning this degree carries deep personal meaning. It represents perseverance, gratitude for the sacrifices made before me, and the example I hope to set for my children, that it is never too late to pursue your dreams.

Completing this degree represents more than an academic achievement; it is the fulfillment of a long-held goal
