I’m a proud mom of four (ages 6–12) who began my nursing journey at 33 after my youngest started preschool. I initially pursued a master’s program to become a Child Life Specialist, but discovered that nursing was the path where my passion and purpose truly aligned. After a career as a preschool director, I transitioned into healthcare and now work as support staff in the SICU/PICU to gain hands-on experience while in school.

During my LPN year, I was honored to receive the Clinical Excellence Award, a meaningful recognition of my dedication to patient care. My future goals include specializing in maternal-child health and/or pediatric nursing, where I can combine my love for children, families, and compassionate care.
