As an adult learner, I returned to higher education with a deep sense of purpose and determination. I became a Licensed Practical Nurse 22 years ago with the goal of one day earning my Registered Nurse degree. While raising my children became my highest priority, I continued taking courses throughout the years to remain current in practice and prepared for the opportunity to advance. This past fall, I was grateful to return to the RN program and pursue the goal I have carried for decades.
Balancing academics alongside career, family, and ministry commitments has required resilience, discipline, and unwavering faith. As a nurse and ministry leader, I value lifelong learning and compassionate service. I am motivated by the desire to serve at a higher level and to encourage others that it is never too late to fulfill a calling.
